GRACE RAMSEY

Associate Instrutor

Hello, my name is Grace!

I grew up on a farm with six siblings, where music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Singing and playing the piano were just part of the daily rhythm of our home. I later earned my Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Texas Women’s University, focusing on voice as my primary instrument.

Family is incredibly important to me, and I’m lucky to have seven nieces and nephews. One summer, I lived with my oldest brother and his family, and during that time, I taught piano to their kids. That experience sparked a deep love for teaching, and I’ve been passionate about sharing the joy of music with others ever since.

Outside of music, I enjoy cooking, making candles, and throwing fun parties. I truly believe in the therapeutic power of music—it has a way of speaking directly to the heart and soul, offering comfort even during difficult times. This belief is at the core of my teaching philosophy. I aim to bring that same sense of healing and joy into every lesson I teach, helping my students not only grow as musicians but also find peace and expression through their music.
