Hi, my name is Ruben Melendez.

 

I began playing music in church at the age of 11 and have been in love with it ever since. I studied K-12 music education at Dallas Baptist University, and I recently completed my masters degree in Music Theory at the University of Texas at Arlington.

 

Growing up I didn't have a private music teacher, so I had to learn a lot on my own. Because of that, I love teaching my students all of the things I wish someone had taught me. This way, they can reach their goals as fast as possible. In my lessons you will learn how music works and fits together all while learning to play some of your favorite songs.
